Chicago’s weather has a direct and measurable impact on event pricing — and for indoor sales kickoffs and company kickoffs, that’s an opportunity most planners overlook. November through February sees a significant drop in leisure and tourism demand, which translates into meaningfully lower venue rates, better hotel availability, and more negotiating leverage than you’ll find at almost any other time of year. The venues are just as good, the AV and production infrastructure is identical, and your delegates are indoors for the programme anyway — so the weather becomes largely irrelevant to the event experience itself.
